Roads/Railways – what warning tapes are needed for?

The extensive road industry department includes products intended for road use, with the possibility to use them for other purposes. Some products in this category range are similar to other accessories, and some are quite versatile.

In the road industry section you can find, among others, violet tapes. While water tapes are usually blue and sewage tapes are green or brown, the violet color is intended for marking underground heating networks (so-called heat pipelines).

A product that in fact can be used by everyone, not only those appointed to that service, are yellow and black marking tapes without overprint. These products mark places that can potentially endanger the life and health of humans. In the road industry, they can be arranged, for example, over a damaged curb by the road. They are used on construction sites and road works. They are commonly used to mark dangerous places, such as a non-working lift.

Warning tapes for services – road industry / railway industry

The color of the warning tape represents its intended use. Some products in this category are intended for use primarily by services for a specific purpose. This is mainly the police and fire brigade.

TOO-BN/10 tapes, available in the road industry section, are characterized by a white and blue color and have the standard overprint "Police" (the overprint variant can be changed individually). Similarly, red and white tapes have the "Fire brigade” overprint, but may also have “Caution! Excavations” or “Road works” overprints.
